My Very First Socks
I am very excited about knitting my very first pair of socks! I used the same pattern as Samantha and, like she said, they weren't as scarey as I thought they would be.
I am also pretty psyched to join this blog. I will post more pictures soon...

Welcome Maire. Everyone, meet Maire, Maire, meet everyone. Just a little introduction of everyone. You've met Janet, who is Noah's mom. I've learned everything I know about knitting (and a few other things) from Janet. If you've got any knitting questions, Janet will know the answer, or at least hold your hand as you figure it out together. Fran is Janet's mom, who lives too far away in Long Island. She makes shawls like it's no one's business, and also a very talented quilter. Terri is Janet's best friend who is also a superwoman. She works full-time, going to school getting another degree, has three kids, active in the Temple, you name, she's doing it. And everyone, Maire is one of my oldest oldest friends. We met in the 5th grade and soon after became best friends for life. College moved us far apart from one another for a while but now we are back together again, like two peas in a pod.
